In 1998, the Swiss RC TRITEC Ltd. cooperated with Nemoto&Co. Ltd. to establish the LumiNova AG Switzerland, releasing the Super-LumiNova, which has been widely used in watchmaking industry. Comparing to other material, the Super-LumiNova has obvious advantages.
In addition to the green and blue light, it could exude the white, yellow, purple and so on. The main ingredient is strontium aluminate which is not radioactive. Meanwhile, the luminescent of Super-LumiNova will never be faded with the time flows. For example, after decades of years, the blue light of the perfect Rolex fake watches will still exude blue light.
Super-LumiNova is the mainstream luminous material but not the only one in watchmaking industry. Rolex has used the Chromalight since 2008. The blue light of the D-blue dial copy Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea looks very dazzling in the dark environment, which is absolutely beyond the conventional standard of watchmaking industry.
